About this event

RI Docs presents the international premiere of the documentary film The Pizza Principal. After the unexpected popularity of his local pizza reviews, a pizza-obsessed vice principal from Coventry High School sets out to review 40 Rhode Island pizzerias in 30 days and fulfill his dream of becoming a professional writer. Directed by Rhode Island native Kirk Benttinen, the film takes you through the kitchens and dining rooms of mom-and-pop pizzerias all across Rhode Island, celebrating the stories, people, and recipes behind some of the best pizza in the country. Live at Uptown Theater in Providence. Doors open at 7:00 PM.
