About this event

Ahavath Torah Congregation (ATC) is celebrating its 135th anniversary with a three event series this fall, each showcasing the congregation’s enduring impact on the community and honoring the individuals who have shaped its legacy—along with special VIPs joining us throughout the season. We invite you to join us for one or all of these celebrations as we mark 135 years of ATC and look ahead to many more. The series features the October 25 Susan Hausman Memorial Comedy Festival, the November 7 Gala honoring Rabbi Jonathan Hausman’s 30 years of service, and the December 5 Blues Night highlighting ATC’s longstanding contributions to the South Shore. We look forward to celebrating this milestone year together and continuing to build a vibrant future for our community!!!

FEATURING SOUL BOX - THE DELTA GENERATORS

The Delta Generators formed in 2006 and quickly became a staple of the Boston Blues scene and have gone onto international acclaim. The DGs won the Boston Blues Challenge and competed in Memphis in the International Blues Challenge where they almost took the top spot.

The Delta Generators have forged a solid place in the Boston Blues scene. They recorded 4 albums prior to the latest CD which was released this past June. Fronted by Brian Templeton, a

fixture in the local scene since 1991 (formerly of The Radio Kings and his solo career) along with brothers Rick and Charlie O’Neal and drummer Jeff Armstrong, the Delta Generators have toured nationally and in Europe to enthusiastic crowds and great reviews. Their goal is to forge a spiritual bond with and provide a spiritual experience for their fans.

Their new album On & On captures the live zeitgeist of the band perfectly and is their best album to date

Soul Box has wowed crowds nationally since 2012. The pandemic canceled a national/international tour, but the band soldiered on refusing to be a casualty. With a new rhythm section and heavier sound on their original materials, Soul Box turns any song into their own (listen to Soul Box’ cover of You Can Leave Your Hat On or Bob Marley’s Could This Be Love). Members Gregg Miller, George Howard, Paul Chase, Ric and Matt Smith are a wonderful collection of talent. A great Northeast staple, a new tour is in the planning stages.

Doors, Kitchen and Bar (beer and wine only) open at 6:00pm. Show starts at 7:00pm.
