About this event

Join us for two exciting after-school programs: **Karate & Stranger Danger** and **Musical Theater**, designed for students in grades K-6.

**Karate & Stranger Danger** is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15-4:15 PM for beginners (grades K-6) and 4:30-5:30 PM for advanced students (grades 3-12), starting September 9th. This class teaches American Kenpo Karate, emphasizing self-awareness, discipline, and confidence, while also covering essential stranger danger skills. Classes run twice a week as long as school is in session, and participants may join at any time. The fee is $120 for the first month, which includes a gi, and $95 for returning students. Classes take place at H. Olive Day School Gymnasium.

**Musical Theater** for 3rd to 6th graders is scheduled for Mondays from 3:15-4:15 PM, with classes running on select dates starting September 14th. Students will learn the fundamentals of creating a musical production, culminating in a performance of "Peter’s Medley Excerpts," inspired by the classic “Peter Pan.” Every child will receive a speaking part, and no prior experience is needed. Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory. This program will be held in the Cafeteria/Stage at Freeman Kennedy School, with a maximum enrollment of 25 participants.

Come and discover your passion through karate or the performing arts! Registration is required for both programs.
